I have worked at a Nursing Home for years. I was curious about where all the residents came from, what they did in their entire lifes, what kind of people they were, what they liked to do, etc. Some people had some pictures in their rooms which was nice to get to know a little bit of their lifes. So, I started thinking about putting up a Portfolio Poster in their rooms. This is how I can help with poeple who has Altzheimer's and Dementia Disease, they would like to tell us about their lives as all of us.

Portfolio Poster
1. Choose Pictures of your life "Best Memories"
Example When you were a baby, with your sisters and brothers, house you grew up, activities you liked, wedding, your children, pet. And newer pictures. Up to 12 pictures recommended to make a 27 x 40 size poster. Poster size is changed depending on number of pictures and your desire of picture sizes.
2. Put a Caption On For Each Picture
Introduce yourself
If you would like captions, they can also be added to the poster. It will be a great idea to show and tell, let people know what interests you!
Use Sticky Note to write down Name, Place, Date and Simple comment.
3. Order Your Portfolio Poster
Call for a consultation
All the pictures will be returned after scanning. Copyright Release is necessary if the picture has been copyrighted.
Contract with a deposit of 50% of the total cost is required.
Copyright Release
If the picture has a Copyright, see the photographer to make a Copyright Release. It is important to re-product your photo.
